为推动科学教育及产业知识，台湾积体电路制造股份有限公司于民国捐赠国立台中自然科学博物馆成立“半导体的世界”展馆，期望藉由展示引领大众了解半导体的演进及科学原理、晶圆制作的进程及技术，以及半导体产业对大众生活的影响及重要性。

In order to promote scientific education and industrial knowledge, Taiwan Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established the "World of Semiconductors" exhibition hall at the National Taichung Natural Science Museum, donated by the Republic of China. The aim is to lead the public to understand the evolution and scientific principles of semiconductors, the process and technology of wafer making, and the impact and importance of the semiconductor industry on people's lives through exhibitions.
