In recent years, Dubai has transformed its tourism industry into a comprehensive gateway for talent, capital, and culture through the “D33 Economic Agenda.” In 2023, the city welcomed over 18 million international visitors, including 824,000 Chinese tourists-a 31% increase compared to the previous year. Arcades, as an important form of entertainment and consumer spending, have directly benefited from the boom in tourism. This type of entertainment has sparked a growing craze in Dubai.

Arcades are now offering premium experiences for young people, such as immersive tech entertainment in theme parks like IMG Worlds of Adventure. At the same time, family-friendly chains like Fun City target the need for parent-child interaction by opening locations in malls such as Jumeirah Mall. With features like soft play areas and log flume rides, they have become a popular choice for family outings. Thanks to Dubai’s future-facing “City of the Future” technology strategy, traditional arcades are about to undergo a new wave of transformation. In this exciting moment, the MTM design team has been given a brand-new opportunity and challenge-invited to create the world’s first AI+Super Arcade project.
名准团队锚定“高端AI技术+未来内容主题+爆点设计”三部曲来将迪拜传统电玩城革新为新一代超级游艺城,满足迪拜当地人及游客对电玩城这一娱乐产品越来越高的“刺激好玩”、“沉浸式代入感”、“社交熟悉”等需求,将成为迪拜面向全球的首家爆点超级游艺城产品,成为产业链相关企业的爆款产品。
The MTM design team is focusing on a three-part strategy of “advanced AI technology + futuristic content themes + breakthrough design” to transform Dubai’s traditional arcades into a new generation of Super Arcades. This will meet the growing demand from both locals and tourists for arcades that are more thrilling and fun, immersive, and socially engaging. It is set to become Dubai’s first globally oriented flagship Super Arcade and a hit product in the industry.

迪拜AI+超级游艺城选址全球最大购物中心之一场内,对标全球最大购物中心之一迪拜购物中心(The Dubai Mall)电玩城Play DXB,该电玩城提供街机游戏、旋转木马等亲子娱乐项目。
名准团队致力于打造一个前所未来的企业数字时代原生感的沉浸式体验空间:将身份、互动与场景融合于实体平台。因此,团队在本项目植入了人工智能AI+、赛博欲望都市大世界观、赏金猎人任务主线来构成差异化升级,让每位玩家成为自身旅程的主角,以赏金猎人成长之路为叙事脉络,通过游戏化故事设计,构建了一个数字身份诞生、进化与联结的动态世界。
The Dubai AI + Super Amusement City is set inside one of the world’s largest shopping malls, positioned against Play DXB at the Dubai Mall, which currently offers arcade games, carousels, and family entertainment.
MTM design team is committed to creating an unprecedented immersive space with the feel of the native digital era: merging identify, interaction, and environment within a physical platform. For this project, the team has introduced AI+, a grand cyberpunk-inspired world, and a bounty hunter storyline to deliver a different upgrade. Each player becomes the protagonist of their own journey, following a bounty hunter’s growth narrative. Through gamified storytelling, the space builds a dynamic world where digital identities are born, evolve and connect.
“1+1+3”递进式体验设计
“1+1+3”Progressive Experience Design
设计方案为3000㎡超级旗舰店,名准团队提出创意体验设计【赛博欲望都市】:在数字世界中玩家们内心深层次的欲望会得到激发和满足,玩家可以通过电机游戏来获得进入欲望之门BOX的机会,随后在超级装置核心区与巨龙达成交互获得欲望的满足,触发不同的体验结局。
The design plan is for a 3,000㎡ Super Flagship Store, where the Mingzhun team has proposed a creative experience concept called “Cyber Desire City.” In this digital world, players’ deepest desires are awakened and fulfilled. By playing arcade games, they can earn a chance to enter the “Gate of Desire BOX.” Inside the core area of the super installation, players interact with a giant dragon to have their desires satisfied, triggering different possible endings to the experience.
每个区域通过实时挑战、数字奖励与实体互动激发参与感。
入口处植入接待区域,当玩家进入之后 ,互动屏幕将邀请他们 “建立数字分身”。玩家只需为自己拍摄一张照片,先进的生成式 AI 技术就能根据其自行选择的游戏偏好、游戏风格和场景环境,创造出独一无二的人物形象,游戏与现实的界限在这里不复存在。
Each area uses real-time challenges, digital rewards, and physical interactions to spark a strong sense of participation.
At the entrance, a reception areas is set up. When player enter, an interactive screen invites them to “create a digital avatar.” By simply taking a photo, advanced generative AI technology will generate a unique character based on their chosen game preferences, play style, and environment. Here, the boundary between game and reality disappears.

Game Battle Stage: A customized gaming platform designed for multiple players to engage in PvP battles on the same stage. Players can also choose cooperative PvE mode, allowing their digital avatars to fight alongside their real selves!
巨龙的本土化重构:庞大的身躯可转化为数字孪生系统的可视化载体,以夸张的体量和其机械形态规避具象化争议,服务于超级装置交互的爆点体验设计。
Localized Dragon Reconstruction: The massive dragon’s body is re-imagined as a visual carrier for a digital twin system. Its exaggerated scale and mechanical form avoid real-world controversies, while serving as the centerpiece for a powerful, interactive experience within the super installation.
天花顶部设计屏幕,创建数字传送带,琳琅满目的数字大奖会跟随传送带向前移动形成超吸引眼球的视觉震撼效果,营造游艺城氛围基调。欲望虹吸传送带设计“获奖提示音、数字礼品震动效果、随机间隔灯光效果、特殊香薰释放”四位一体的潜意识感官新体验,让玩家不知不觉中深度融入到迷漫的场景之中,沉醉其中,激发放大玩家情绪欲望。
The ceiling is designed with large screens that create a digital conveyor belt, carrying a dazzling array of prizes forward in a visually striking way, setting the tone for the entire arcade atmosphere.The “Desire-Siphon Conveyor Belt” combines four elements—winning sound effects, vibrating digital rewards, random lighting effects, and special scent releases—to deliver a subconscious, multi-sensory experience. This design immerses players deeply into the atmosphere without them even realizing it, amplifying their emotions and desires as they get fully absorbed in the scene.
